Is it worth it? Jury’s still out. But what I do know is that networking in Trad music is approximately 1,000 times harder when your regular duet partner is a 3-year-old with a questionable bedtime! Most sessions kick off just as I’m negotiating pjs and bedtime stories, and the daytime ones aren’t usually built with toddlers in mind (if he even gets past the door).

So on to trying to stand out and step up! What could possibly go wrong?
